UNDATED - Congresswoman Michele Bachmann leads Mitt Romney in latest national poll.

The organization Public Polling Policy says Bachmann has a slim lead over Romney of 21% to 20%.

Romney still has the lead among centrist Republicans.  But among the 'very conservative' Bachmann is the clear favorite.

Oddly enough one of the best things that could happen to Romney is if Sarah Palin would enter the race.  In a ballot test including Palin as a candidate, Romney leads Bachmann 20% to 16%.  So basically a Palin candidacy would take a large bite out of Bachmann's support, with virtually no impact on Romney.

Meanwhile, former Governor Tim Pawlenty continues to struggle to gain momentum.  He only received 5% support in this latest poll.
