UNDATED – Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was selected for his sixth career Pro Bowl on Friday night.

Even with hamstring, groin and ankle injuries this year, Peterson is currently third in NFL rushing this season with 1,266 yards.

If Viking fans are looking for more good news – No Green Bay Packer players were selected for this years Pro Bowl. It’s the first time the Packers have not had a player selected since 2005.

Pro Bowl voting was done through a combination of coaches, players, and fans. The Pro Bowl will take place in Honolulu Hawaii on January 26th.
