9-11 Memorial Events Today In St. Cloud, Rice

ST. CLOUD/RICE – St. Cloud is commemorating the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.  The “Day To Remember” ceremony will be today (Sunday) at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Cloud Police Station.

Everyone is invited to the event, and you’re asked to gather at the front entrance.  Mayor Dave Kleis, representatives of the police and fire departments, military members, and veterans will participate in the program.

Also, The Rice American Legion is hosting an event at the Memorial Monument in Rice at 7:00 p.m. tonight (Sunday).

The 30 minute program will include clergy from area churches, representatives from police, fire, and military.  It’s suggested you bring a lawn chair.
