MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The family of a Minnesotan hailed as one of the heroes of 9/11 is praising the American force that killed Osama bin Laden.

Beverly Burnett says it's a step toward justice, but the U.S. still needs to find all the people responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and bring them to justice.

Her son, Tom Burnett Jr., -- who graduated from St. John's University --  helped lead the passenger revolt against al-Qaida hijackers on Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania. The 38-year-old grew up in Bloomington and graduated from Jefferson High School.

Beverly Burnett, who now lives in Northfield, says she and her husband, Tom Burnett Sr., hope to go to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of 9/11. They're still waiting to hear if they'll get permission to go.
