Vikings Reach Long-Term Deal With Peterson

The Minnesota Vikings and running back Adrian Peterson have agreed to terms on a 7-year contract extension worth $100 Million with $36 Million guaranteed.  Peterson will get $40 over the first 3 years of the contract.   Peterson is being paid as the highest paid running back in the league surpassing the $31 Million in guaranteed money for Chris Johnson.

The 26-year old ran for 1,298 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2010.
