Vikings Practice Without Peterson, Smith and Winfield
The Vikings practiced without running back Adrian Peterson, safety Harrison Smith, cornerback Antoine Winfield, and linebacker/special teammer Tyron McKenzie. Peterson and Smith are both expected to play with Winfield and McKenzie's status more uncertain. Winfield has a broken right hand and tried to play with the injury Sunday but couldn't play for long against Green Bay.
If Winfield cannot play the Vikings will be forced to play more A.J. Jefferson and Marcus Sherels at corner. The Vikings are 8-point underdogs when they play at Green Bay Saturday night at 7pm in the wildcard playoffs, pregame on WJON at 6:00.
