Two Taken to Emergency Room After St. Cloud Crash

ST. CLOUD - Two people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in St. Cloud on Wednesday.

The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 23 and 33rd Avenue.

Police say 33-year-old Lawrence Gave of Pease was traveling east on Highway 23 approaching the intersection. Gave hit a vehicle stuck in traffic, went over the median into the parking lot of the Midtown Mall htting other vehicles before returning to the road, crossing 33rd Avenue and hitting more vehicles.

Police say 26-year-old Nicholas Phillips and 24-year-old Jenna Phillips of St. Cloud were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency room for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Gave likely had a medical condition that caused the crash. No citations were given from the crash.
