UNDATED -- If you're traveling for the holidays later today (Thursday), the National Weather Service says you will run into snow in southwestern Minnesota.

A band of 2 to 5 inches should accumulate by Friday morning south of a line from Morris to Hutchinson.  The snow could also affect the southern Twin Cities metro area.  The higher amounts should run fairly close to the Minnesota River Valley from Montevideo to Mankato.

Snow will continue Friday morning in South Central Minnesota, with another 1 to 3 inches possible there.  This will bring the snow totals for southern Minnesota to 3 to 6 inches.

For us here in the St. Cloud area, we're expecting between 1 and 3 inches of snow by late tonight (Thursday).

For the latest road conditions for any part of the Minnesota, you can call MnDOT's information line at 511, or go to their website 511mn.org.
