ST. CLOUD -- A new structure can be seen along the downtown St. Cloud skyline for the next several months.

The over 100-foot tall tower crane was put up today (Friday) to help with the 5th Avenue parking ramp construction.

Tom Becker with Donlar Construction says they started assembling the tower portion yesterday and will finish putting on the jib by sunset.

It took 13 semi trucks to deliver each pieces.

Becker says they rented the crane from Northwest Cranes for the next six months which is about how long it will take to complete the skeleton of the parking ramp.

The five story, 400 stall parking ramp will cost about $10.3 million and is expected to be completed by August or September.
