Three Taken to Hospital After Fairhaven Crash

FAIRHAVEN – A two vehicle accident at County Road 7 and County Road 146 near Fairhaven has left several injured.

A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 21-year-old Caroline Connolley, was traveling North on County Road 7. A 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Driven by 59-year-old Joseph Estevez, was traveling west on County Road 146.

The Stearns County Sheriffs Office says Estevez failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the side of Connolley’s car.

21-year-old Brittany Lafave was a passenger in Connolley’s vehicle and was air lifted to St. Cloud Hospital after the accident.

Estevez and Connolly were also transported to St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation.
