ST. CLOUD - Three men were arrested on the campus of St. Cloud State University earlier this week.

According to a St. Cloud State campus advisory sent to staff and students, the incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the G-Lot between Halenbeck Hall and the tennis courts.

Police says 20-year-old Daqairus Edwards Williams was driving in and around campus and parked in the lot. Officers tried to stop and question him because he is suspected of being involved in an off-campus incident last weekend.

Edwards Williams didn't follow instructions and was tased and arrested.

Two other men at the scene were also arrested. Police say 19-year-old Robert Coleman of St. Cloud was arrested for interfering with the original arrest and 20-year-old Xavier Slaughter of Brooklyn Park was arrested for providing false identification. All three were taken to the Stearns County Jail.

None of the three men are St. Cloud State University students.
