Three Arrested on Alleged Drug Charges in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD — Three people were arrested yesterday (Thursday) in connection with a drug investigation.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force used a search warrant for two different apartments at 1001 Washington Memorial Drive in St. Cloud.

During the search, police allegedly found cocaine and an undisclosed amount of crack on both floors of the complex.

They also found bullets and a handgun.

Three people were arrested in the investigation.

Twenty-year-old Justin Smithers for outstanding misdemeanor warrants, 24-year-old Jasmine Shelton for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, and 24-year-old Gerry Carter for 3rd degree possession of a controlled substance.
