PLYMOUTH, Minn. (AP) - The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office has released the name of a 16-year-old who died after swimming in an indoor apartment complex pool in Plymouth.

According to a news release from the office, Benedict Richardson was pronounced dead at about 8 p.m. Friday at a Robbinsdale hospital. His cause of death was ruled a drowning.

The sheriff's office was called around 7 p.m. Friday. A family member pulled the unresponsive boy from the pool.

The release says police and the medical examiner are still investigating.
