Several streets in Waite Park will be closed tomorrow (Saturday) for the Family Fun Fest parade. Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says 3rd street North from 10th Avenue North to 4th Avenue North will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Second 2-Hotel Development Gets Waite Park City Council’s Approval

Plans For Second 2-Hotel Development in Waite Park Starts To Move Forward

The early stages of a second two-hotel development in Waite Park have begun. Miller Architects is planning to build a 90-room Staybridge Suites extended-stay hotel and a 120-room Holiday Inn, including a restaurant and bar, on a vacant lot next to Menards along Highway 23.

Waite Park, SCSU to Partner On Plan for Future Growth in the City

Waite Park is exploring ways to better utilize the undeveloped areas of the city at they look towards the future. The city last updated their comprehensive plan back in 2006, and felt with the change in development and growth of the city, the ideas planned for those areas do not fit the mold for today.
