A study commissioned by the real estate investor who envisioned Target Field on a scrubby downtown Minneapolis parking lot concludes the nearby Farmers Market would be the best place for a new Vikings stadium.

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton wants the Vikings to pay for up to half the cost of a new stadium. He says he'd like the Vikings to pay 40 to 50 percent of the cost of a new stadium. The Vikings have said they would pay for 1/3 the cost of a roofless stadium.
