Maple Syrup Collecting: A Sweet Way To Celebrate Spring

It's maple syrup season in central Minnesota, and you have plenty of chances to celebrate. You can take a tour of the maple syrup operation at Stearns County's Kraemer Lake - Wildwood County Park. Also, St. John's Outdoor University is hosting their annual Maple Syrup Festivals in the Abbey Arboretum this Saturday and next Saturday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.

St. John’s Arboretum Changes Name

St. John's Arboretum has a new name. The new name is St. John's Outdoor University, and the more than 2,500 acres of land where much of the education programming takes place is now designated as St. John's Abbey Arboretum.
