Blue Sox 11AAA Take 4th in Global World Series

The St. Cloud Blue Sox youth baseball 11AAA team lost 9-4 in the 3rd place game to the Rocky Mountain Hit Club in the West Coast World Series in Aurora, Colorado. The Blue Sox tied the game 4 in the 5th inning but allowed 5 runs in the 6th inning to lose.

Blue Sox 11AAA Play For 3rd In World Series

The St. Cloud Blue Sox 11AAA youth baseball team plays for 3rd place in the West Coast Global World Series in Aurora, Colorado. The Blue Sox finished 1-3 in pool play and were seeded 9th out of 10 teams. The Blue Sox defeated the Rocky Mountain Rampage 6-4 in the first round of bracket play and upset the top seeded New Mexico Sidewinders 7-6 before falling 10-4 to Colorado Spring Majestic in the final four.

Blue Sox Lose a Pair In Colorado

The St. Cloud Blue Sox 11AAA team lost a pair of games in Aurora, Colorado 15-6 to the Rocky Mountain Hit Club and 17-11 to the Rocky Mountain Hit Club Rampage. Pool play continues for the Blue Sox today in Aurora against the New Mexico Sidewinders and against the Colorado Outlaws.

Blue Sox 11AAA Team Plays In Global WS Starting Thursday

The St. Cloud Blue Sox 11AAA youth baseball team will play in a Global World Series starting at 8:30 Thursday morning in Aurora, Colorado. The Blue Sox qualified to play in a Global World Series earlier this season by finishing 2nd in the St. Cloud Blue Sox invitational. The Blue Sox are guaranteed at least 6 games and will play against teams from 3 different states.

Blue Sox Have Success In Gopher State Tourney

The 12AAA St. Cloud Blue Sox lost 6-4 to Plyouth-Wayzata in the championship game of the Gopher State tournament in Inver Grove Heights Sunday. The Blue Sox were 5-1 in the tournament. The 12AAA team will play either Blaine or St. Michael-Albertville Wednesday for the GSBL state championship.
