The SCSU men's basketball team tipped #12 Winona State 79-78 at Halenbeck Hall Friday night. Huskies point guard Shaun Jensen led the way in the victory with 14 points and ten assists.

SCSU Men and Women Post Hardwood Sweeps

The St. Cloud State Men’s basketball team won a pair of road games this weekend to improve to 15-3 on the season. The Huskies got revenge on Minot State for an earlier loss at Halenbeck Hall with a 64-51 win Friday, then topped the University of Mary 68-51 on Saturday.

SCSU Basketball Swept at U of Mary

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball team were swept at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota Saturday. The SCSU men lost 79-72 after the SCSU women lost 67-50. The SCSU men led 40-27 at halftime but were outscored 52-32 in the 2nd half. Brett Putz led the Huskies with 19 points and Theo Rothstein added 16 points for St. Cloud State. The SCSU men drop to 15-6 in the NSIC and 19-6 overall.

SCSU Basketball Earns Split at Wayne State

The 13th ranked St. Cloud State men's basketball won 54-51 at Wayne State and the SCSU women's basketball team lost 63-41 at Wayne State. Tim Bergstrasser, Theo Rothstein, and Brett Putz each scored 11 points to lead the Huskies. SCSU improves to 16-2 overall and 12-2 in the NSIC.

Weekend Recap: SCSU Hockey Earns Just 1 Point

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team managed just 1 point in the home weekend series with Bemidji State at the National Hockey Center. SCSU tied Bemidji State 6-6 in overtime Friday night but lost 3-1 to the Beavers on Saturday night. St. Cloud State is 6-8-4 overall and 4-5-3 in the WCHA. The Huskies will host Denver December 16-17.
