3 Sauk Rapids Officers Receive Life Saving Awards

Sauk Rapids Police Chief Perry Beise has honored two of his officers and a Sergeant with Life Saving Awards. Officers Brian Novak and Dave Rosenkrans and Sergeant Tom Roy helped save a man who went into cardiac arrest last August 6th, at 706 6th Avenue North.

A bear was spotted in Sauk Rapids on Monday. Police Chief Perry Beise says it was sitting next to a bird feeder in the 1700 block of Summit Avenue North at about 2:00 p.m.
