The ROCORI Spartans defeated the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 6-1 at Dick Putz Field Tuesday afternoon. The victory gives the Spartans the Section 5AAA title.

An alleged gun threat in the Rocori school district this (Wednesday) morning had school officials acting quickly. Rocori Superintendent Scott Staska says they received a call from a parent at about 7:30 a.m. saying their child overheard that another student was planning to bring a weapon to school.
