St. Cloud native Alise Post qualified in 8th place in the women's BMX racing event at the Olympic games in London. She said after the race she could have raced better but could have been worse. She is seeded 4th for her semifinal heat and needs to finish 4th or higher to advance to the finals.

Alise Post of St. Cloud is seeded eighth after today's (Wednesday) seeding run at the Olympic BMX bike competition. She'll race for the gold medal on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. our time.

Cheers erupted through the St. Cloud Public library this morning as St. Cloud native Alise Post made her Olympic BMX biking debut in London.

St. Michael's Chaz Betts was eliminated today in Greco Roman Wrestling at the London Olympics. He won 6-0 in the first round and lost 0-1, 0-2 to Pablo Enrique Shorey Hernandez of Cuba. He advanced to the round of 16 before being eliminated.

St. Michael native Chas Betts competed today (Monday) in the Olympics. He was in the 185 pound weight class in Greco Roman wrestling.
