August 4, 2011 The Twins defeated the Angels in Anaheim 11-4 Wednesday night. Minnesota knocked out 5 homeruns led by Michael Cuddyer with 2 homeruns and 5 RBIs. Cuddyer broke the 4-all tie in the 5th inning with a grand slam homerun. Delmon Young added 2 homeruns and 3 RBIs for the Twins and both Jason Kubel and Ben Revere each had 3 hits and 2 runs scored.
July 28, 2011 The Twins defeated the Texas Rangers 7-2 Wednesday night. Joe Mauer hit his first homerun this season and had 3 runs scored with 2 RBIs for the Twins. Michael Cuddyer had 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Jason Kubel had 3 hits and 3 RBIs for the Twins. Brian Duensing threw 6 2/3 innings with 7 hits and 1 earned run allowed with 6 strikeouts to get the win and improve to 8-8 for Minnesota.
July 26, 2011 The Rangers scored early and often to beat the Twins 20-6 in Texas Monday night. Texas scored 3 runs in the first, 2nd and 3rd innings, 5 runs in the 4th and 4 more runs in the 5th. Nick Blackburn allowed 11 hits and 9 runs (6 earned) in 2 2/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 7-7.

July 7, 2011 The Twins lost 12-5 to Tampa Bay at home in their hopes of a sweep against the Rays at Target Field. Tampa Bay scored 4 8th inning runs and added 3 more runs in the 9th inning to secure the win. Alex Burnett and Phil Dumatrait were each roughed up by the Rays. Burnett allowed 4 hits and 4 earned runs in 1 1/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 2-5. Francisco Liriano started the game for the Twins and allowed 6 hits and 5 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings.

June 24, 2011 The Twins lost for the 2nd straight day 2-1 at San Francisco Thursday night. Michael Cuddyer extended his hitting streak to 12 games and were 3-4 with 1 RBI for the Twins. Minnesota had just 4 hits on the day. Tim Lincecum threw 7 shutout innings with 3 hits allowed and 12 strikeouts to get the win.
March 21, 2011 The Twins lost 3-0 to the Toronto Blue Jays in exhibition play in Florida Sunday afternoon. Scott Baker allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 4 innings to take the loss and drop to 1-3 this spring. Jesse Litsch got the win for the Blue Jays. Minnesota managed just 4 hits with 1 apiece from Tsuyoshi Nishioka and Delmon Young.
