A TV show host from the Food Network is the featured speaker for the 3rd annual Stearns History Museum fundraiser. Park Rapids' Amy Thielen will talk about Midwestern cuisine, her cookbook, and her show "The Heartland Table".
Northern Minnesota's Amy Thielen seems to be taking the cooking world by storm this fall. The Park Rapids woman has a new show on the Food Network called "Heartland Table". It debuted on September 14th. She also has a new book out on the store shelves called "The New Midwestern Table: 200 Heartland Recipes".
With popular TV shows like "The Great American Food Truck Race" on the Food Network, food trucks are a hot new trend. For Joey and Melissa Ryan of St. Cloud the show inspired them to buy a truck of their own.
