The Minnesota Cold Weather Rule starts today (Wedneday) and Xcel Energy is taking steps to ensure people who have trouble paying their energy bills get the help they need.

Minnesota's Cold Weather Rule, for people who have trouble paying their heating bills, begins tomorrow (Saturday). Under the rule, eligible residential energy customers are protected from service disconnection through April 15th.
