The school board will review and is expected to pass the plans during their meeting on Thursday night. The district is planning to sell the Tech High School and media services buildings.

Early Childhood Center Could be Built on Clark Field

The St. Cloud Area School District is considering options for a new early childhood center building, including one that would place it at Clark Field. Designs revealed by the district say the building on Clark Field would cost around $25.3 million. The proposed three level building would have 95,000 square feet of space and a 250 space parking lot.

Tech Alumni Association Still Hopes to Renovate Clark Field [AUDIO]

The St. Cloud Tech Alumni Association is meeting with St. Cloud School District officials next week to discuss the future of Clark Field. The District closed the field to varsity football in 2012 because of mold issues.

Supporters Of Clark Field Renovation Project Hold Kick-Off Event [AUDIO]

Supporters of a plan to renovate Tech High School's Clark Field held a fundraising kick-off event this (Monday) evening in downtown St. Cloud. Roger Haxby graduated from Tech in 1953. He lives in Anchorage, Alaska now, but came back home for the event. Haxby says it's important for the Tiger football team to have a home field again.

District 742 School Board Scraps Planned Levy Extension Vote – For Now

The St. Cloud Area School Board has voted to rescind a planned vote in November on the extension of an operating levy. Back in May the board voted to bring the levy extension to the voters on the November ballot, but after discussions with new Superintendent Willie Jett, they decided to delay the vote.
