Sylvester “Cy” Mueller, 81, Cold Spring

October 20, 1933 – October 18, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2015 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Sylvester “Cy” Mueller, age 81, who died peacefully on Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.

A visitation with relatives and friends will be from 12 – 1:30 p.m. in the church Narthex.

Cy was born in St. Cloud, MN to Henry and Anna (Schmitt) Mueller. He married Rachel Kraus on September 2, 1957 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. Cy served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 and worked at Cold Spring Granite for 43 years. Cy loved camping, fishing, playing baseball and softball and partying with his neighbors at Big Fish Lake. He was an active member of the Cold Spring Legion and VFW and was a member Catholic United Financial.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel; brother, Ralph (Mary) Mueller and sister, Celina (Ed) Fink; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 8 of his siblings.
