Susan K. Kampa, 73, Sartell

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Susan K. Kampa, 73 of Sartell will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Sue passed away unexpectedly at Edgewood Assisted Living in Sartell on Monday, August 14, 2017. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Sue was born on December 25, 1943 in St. Cloud to Marlow and Alma (Jungels) Hillstrom. She graduated from Cathedral High School and volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital during her youth. She married Allen Kampa and they later divorced. Sue was a loving mother of four and also was employed as a Nursing Assistant for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral
.
Sue loved her family and treasured spending time with them. She also enjoyed dancing, singing, visiting with friends and family outings. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Carla Brundell of Oak Park, Kris (David) Stachowski of Sartell, Craig Kampa of Florida, Sarah (Josh) Siegel of Texas; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Georgia Youngquist of Mpls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Hillstrom.

Memorials are preferred.
