ST. STEPHEN - Police are looking for three men reportedly involved in a home invasion in St. Stephen this (Monday) morning. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident began at about 9:45 a.m.

The homeowner says he heard a knock on the door, and was met by three men. He was then punched and tied up. The victim's name, and specific location, has not been released.

The three men left with a safe from the home, and the home owner's vehicle, which is described as a 1995 White Chevy Lumina. It has the license plate number 6-9-7-B-B-B.

Deputies searched the area with the help of the State Patrol and surrounding agencies. The homeowner was treated for his injuries at the scene.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with any information should contact the Stearns County Sheriff's Office at 251-4240, or their local police department.
