ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police are looking for a suspect who was allegedly involved in a burglary on Saturday.

Police say the incident happened just after 5:30 a.m. in the 500 Block of 6th Avenue South.

Five men inside the home were sleeping when two unknown males entered by forcing open the lock on an exterior door.

Both suspects were confronted by one of the residents on the second floor, at which time they said they were there for a party. The confrontation wasn't violent and the males agreed to leave.

One suspect left the house immediately. However, the second suspect went into a different room, took a 32-inch television and then crawled out the window.

The renters of the house had installed their own video surveillance and captured video evidence of the suspects. The video was turned over to Police for investigation. Police identified one suspect as a 17 year old from St. Cloud on the video, and arrested him on Monday at 3:30 p.m.

The other suspect was identified as 22-year-old Jacob Elijah. He remains on the loose.

Anyone with information on Elijah is urged to contact St. Cloud Police at 320-251-1200 or the Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301. Crime tips can also be texted to the Crime Stoppers.
