St. Cloud Man Thrown From Motorcycle, Taken to Hospital

MORRISON COUNTY - A St. Cloud man was hurt when he was thrown from his motorcycle on Monday.

The incident happened at 1:20 p.m. on Quest Road near 243rd Street by Harding.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Jake Peck of St. Cloud was traveling north on Quest Road, when a deer ran in front of him on the road. Peck swerved to miss the deer, lost control, went into the ditch and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken by ambulance to St. Gabriel's Hospital with unknown injuries.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was helped at the scene by Gold Cross Ambulance, the Sullivan Lake First Response Team and the DNR.
