St. Cloud Man Arrested For Allegedly Kidnapping Attempt

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Police Department arrested a man in connection with a possible kidnapping in progress.

Police were called to the 1600 block of 7th Street South around 2:55 a.m. yesterday morning (Wednesday).

Authorities say 26-year-old Cody Parson of St. Cloud threatened a 25-year-old female victim with a rifle and allegedly made threatening comments toward her.

Parson was arrested and taken to the Sherburne County Jail where he's being held for court. He's facing charges of Domestic Assault, Terroristic Threats, Second Degree Assault, Felon In Possession of a Firearm and First Degree DWI in connection with the possible kidnapping.
