St. Cloud Man Arrested For Allegedly Breaking Into Ex-Girlfriend’s Home

ST. CLOUD – A St. Cloud man was arrested on Friday morning after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and attacking her.

22-year-old Jonathon Smith from St. Cloud was arrested at about 4:00 a.m. in the 700 block of 6th Avenue South.

Police learned that Smith forced his way into the home through a bedroom window and attacked his ex-girlfriend, a 21-year-old from St. Cloud.

The victim didn’t need medical attention. Smith is being held at the Stearns County Jail on charges of 1st degree burglary, domestic assault and disorderly conduct.
