ST. CLOUD - Local residents are sharing their memories of the day President John F. Kennedy was shot.  Tomorrow (Friday) is the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

The Stearns History Museum asked people to send them their thoughts from that day.  Spokeswoman Debi Pack says one submission was from a man who was a student at the time.

Pack says one woman sent in a letter that she wrote at that time.

Pack says the museum will host a round table discussion tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00 p.m. Nearly 50-years to the hour of the assassination - Kennedy was shot at 12:30 p.m. central time on November 22nd, 1963 in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas.

It's free for museum members, and $5 for non-members.
