Shed, Dairy Barn Damaged By Fire Near Cold Spring

COLD SPRING - A fire burned a shed near Cold Spring. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the call came in at about 7:00 p.m. for a fire at the Stang farmsite at 19501 Schackman Lake Road in Luxemburg Township, about five miles southwest of Cold Spring.

A large shed was fully engulfed and another dairy barn was also on fire.

It's believed the fire was started by a lawn mower that was put away while it was still hot.

Fire crews saved the dairy barn, but the shed is a total loss.

No people or livestock were hurt.
