WAITE PARK -- Waite Park police were called to a semi rollover on County Road 75 this (Monday) morning.

The incident happened at about 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 75 and 28th Avenue near Mills Fleet Farm.

Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says the semi was heading westbound on County Road 75, attempting to make a left turn onto 28th Avenue, when the load of gravel the semi was carrying shifted causing the semi to roll on its side and the gravel to spill on the road.

25-year-old Adam Kringle, of Silver Lake, was the driver of the semi. He was not hurt.

Southbound traffic on 28th Avenue was closed for about two hours to clean up the spill.

It is believed speed may have been a contributing factor and the investigation continues.
