MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A Minnesota hospital says the remains of a second stillborn baby also may have been sent to a laundry service.

Regions Hospital of St. Paul said Friday it believes the second set of remains were in the same basket of linens that held the remains of another stillborn baby. The linens were sent to a laundry in Red Wing.

On Wednesday, the hospital discovered a stillborn at 22 weeks gestational age had been found by laundry service workers.

The hospital announced Friday that the remains of a stillborn at 19 weeks gestational age were also in the same basket of linens. The hospital has ruled out that those remains went to a funeral home or another location.

Hospital CEO Brock Nelson apologized for what he called a "terrible mistake."
