RED WING (AP) - Hospital officials say a second search of a Red Wing laundry service failed to locate the remains of a stillborn baby.

Staff from Regions Hospital did another search at Crothall Laundry Services Saturday, looking for the body of a second stillborn infant weighing about one pound. The remains were in the same linen container in which laundry employees found a male stillborn baby last week.

Regions spokeswoman Elizabeth Nicklos says the hospital has reviewed pathology records for the past year and that "all other stillborn remains have been properly accounted for."

About two babies are stillborn at Regions each month.
