RICHMOND -- A main highway in central Minnesota will have traffic restrictions and lane closures as part of a preventive maintenance and seal coating project. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will begin the work on Highway 23 between Richmond and the Highway 55 intersection in Paynesville tomorrow (Wednesday). A pilot car and flaggers will control traffic and you should plan for daily lane closures in the area where crews are working. Slow down and be alert for loose gravel and oil spraying in those areas. The work is expected to last until mid-July.
