SCSU’s Schlagel Wins 300th Game At Northern State

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team won 87-83 in overtime at Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota Friday night.  The win is the 300th in the career of head coach Kevin Schlagel.  Brett Putz led the Huskies with 25 points and Theo Rothstein added 17 points for SCSU.  St. Cloud State trailed by 4 at halftime.

The St. Cloud State women’s basketball team lost 61-43 at Northern State Friday night.  Aaryn Booker led the Huskies with 11 points.  SCSU is 13-11 overall and 10-10 in the NSIC.

The SCSU men’s basketball team is 15-5 in the NSIC and 19-5 overall.  The St. Cloud State basketball teams play at the University of Mary today.  Women’s game at 4pm with the men’s game at 6pm.
