Sauk Rapids’ New Mayor to be Sworn-in Tonight, Vacant Seat to be Filled
SAUK RAPIDS – Sauk Rapids will officially have a new mayor as of this (Monday) evening. Newly elected Brad Gunderson will be sworn into office at the start of the city council meeting. He ran unopposed in last November’s election.
Two new council members will also take the Oath of Office, Steven Heinen and Nick Sauer.
Another piece of business on tonight’s agenda is to appoint someone to fill Gunderson’s vacant council seat. They have six finalists to choose from.
