Sauk Rapids Mayor, 3 Council Members Sworn-in
SAUK RAPIDS - With a new Mayor and three new council members, the Sauk Rapids City Council has a very different look.
New Mayor Brad Gunderson and new Council members Steve Heinen and Nick Sauer all took the Oath of Office this (Monday) evening.

The council then unanimously approved the appointment of former council member Kurt Hunstiger to the open seat. Hunstiger previously served on the board from 2001 through 2007.
Board member Paul Weber nominated Hunstiger because he has experience. He says, with two new freshman board members already, it made says to bring someone on to the board with a little more knowledge of city government.
