UNDATED - Summer will be in the air the next couple of days, especially across western Minnesota, as strong southerly winds send temperatures surging into the 80s and even the 90s.

Some high based showers will struggle to get rain to the ground this morning, but otherwise it is looking dry until Saturday and Sunday as a cold front slowly moves through.

After that, the first half of next week looks pleasant and dry, before more active weather looks to return Wednesday night.
