Public Utilities Commission To Decide On Wind Farm

ST. CLOUD -- We will know tomorrow (Tuesday) whether a proposed wind farm near Paynesville can move ahead.

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission is expected to decide the issue. They're holding a public hearing on the 95 megawatt Paynesville Wind Farm, which would cover about 15,000 acres in Zion, Paynesville, Spring Hill, and Lake Henry Townships.

Geronimo Wind Energy wants to build up to 60 wind mills.
