Projects Funded to Keep Older Residents in their Homes

BECKER - A Becker organization that helps older people stay in their homes has been awarded nearly $300,000.

The Great River Area Faith in Action will use the grant to expand its Living Well at Home program into St. Cloud and Princeton.  They'll also expand their services in Becker and Sherburne County.

The organization is one of 14 in the state that will share nearly $2.3 million in funding appropriated by the State Legislature. They all have a goal of keeping Minnesotans in their homes, and remain vital members of the communities.
