Police Looking For Suspect in St. Cloud Robbery
ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud police are asking for your help finding the suspect involved in robbery Friday morning.
The incident happened before 1:00 a.m. in the 1100 block of St. Germain Street West.
Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton says the victims, a 32-year-old man from Albertville and a 45-year-old man from Moticello, were walking east on St. Germain when they were approached by a lone suspect.
The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded their belongings before fleeing on foot. Police set up a perimeter and tried to track the suspect with a police dog but were unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s or 30s, about 5'6" to 5'9" tall, medium build, with a thin goatee, and wearing dark clothing.
No one was hurt and the investigation is ongoing.
