Paramount Theater Seats Up For Sale

ST. CLOUD - The Paramount Theater is getting closer to replacing the seats which audiences have sat in for the last six decades. You now have the chance to sit in those seats at home by purchasing the old seats. There are two sets of two seats at a cost of $50 per set, twelve sets of three costing $75 per set, and eleven sets of four at $100 per set.

The Paramount Theater is replacing the seats because parts are no longer made by the manufacturer. The new seats are designed in a way that will allow for more seats to be put in. A total of 800 new, bigger seats are expected to be put in place in May. The design and spacing of the seats allows for more seats, the current seats only allow for 714 people. The theater started the "Take Your Seat For Act II" to help pay for process. The total cost was estimated to be between $350,000 and $400,000.
