One Man Hurt in Avon Township Shooting

AVON TOWNSHIP -- One person was hurt after a shooting in Avon Township last (Sunday) night. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was called out at 8:10 p.m. to a home in the 18,000 block of 332nd Street.

Officers arrived to find a 43-year-old St. Cloud man had been shot several times. He was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.

The Sheriff's office lists a 38-year-old Avon man involved in this incident, but no information has been released as to what role the Avon man had in this incident.

The Sheriff's Office did not say whether any arrests have been made. No names or other information has been released while authorities investigate the incident.
