ST. CLOUD - Another "Honor Flight" from St. Cloud to Washington, D.C. is being planned for next month. Freedom Flight President Luke Cesnik says they wanted to organize one more trip to the World War II monument for the veterans who wanted to see it.

Cesnik says its a free trip for the veterans. They'll be going on April 21st and 22nd. The total cost for the trip is over $30,000.

Cesnik says they thought their flight last fall would be their last, but decided to organize one more trip.

Over 650 veterans from central Minnesota have taken the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. to see the World War II memorial. This is their 9th flight from St. Cloud.

They are still raising money for the Honor Flight. Coming-up on Saturday they have their annual Steak Fry/Chicken Dinner fundraiser at the VFW Post 428 in St. Cloud. The cost is $15 in advance, and $20 at the door. There will also be a live and silent auction. The event will run from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
