UPDATE: Minneapolis Police Find Car Involved In Fatal Hit and Run

MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis Police have found the vehicle and continue to look for the driver involved in a fatal hit and run Tuesday.

Officers on routine patrol found the suspect vehicle in the area of 30th and Fremont Avenue North.

At about 5:30 p.m. Police were called to the area of 30th Avenue and Fremont Avenue North. 911 calls indicated a car struck a woman and sped off westbound on 30th Avenue North towards Girard Avenue.

The victim was taken to North Memorial Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 9:15 p.m.
