Marijuana Growing Operation Allegedly Found In St. Cloud Home

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man is in jail after deputies allegedly found pot in his home.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force used a search warrant yesterday (Tuesday) at the home on 58th Avenue in St. Cloud after investigators had gone to the house of 36-year-old Daniel Lommel of St. Cloud regarding a previous incident. As officers knocked on the door they smelled marijuana.

Investigators say they found an active marijuana growing operation in the house, including 95 plants, and about $5,700 in cash. A loaded shotgun was also there.

Lommel is expected to be charged with 5th degree controlled substance.
